Scott Not to many poker players have been signing sponsorship deals anywhere due to the tough economy, but Scotty Nguyen just recently inked a deal with Expekt Poker. Expekt is one of the leading online gambling portals as they offer online poker, online sports wagering and online bingo. The Expekt Poker room is on the iPoker Network which is the fastest growing online poker network in the world and just recently took over third place for the biggest poker room in the world.
Scotty Nguyen has been playing poker for a very long time now and over the years Scotty has won over $10 million on the various poker circuits. Just last year Scotty won the massive $50K H.O.R.S.E. Poker event and he will be playing in many more events this year as part of the sponsorship deal. He will be wearing the Expekt logo at every event and he said he can’t wait to start playing poker and representing one of the strongest poker brands in the world.
As part of the deal with Expekt Poker Nguyen will be constructing video blog and a written monthly piece. Both will be on the Expekt website and will be mainly focused around poker strategy since we all know how good Scotty can play the game. This has been the biggest poker sponsorship in 2009 thus far and although it’s been a little bit of a slow year to poker so far in 2009 the WSOP is starting soon so we’ll have tons to talk about.
